Couples where woman produces eggs of a poor quality or produces no eggs at all still have a chance to conceive by using an egg donor. At Sakuta Fertility we can offer you a choice of egg donors – healthy mothers who have a strong desire to make your world better.

The Egg Donation program will be the best option for patients who:
Once you have been fully examined and confirmed for this program, you can start choosing your perfect egg donor. All our egg donors are rigorously screened on the presence of any diseases, including genetic and psychological ones.
According to Ukrainian legislation egg donors must meet the following criteria:
The procedure of donor’s screening starts from ultrasound examination and several blood tests for hormone levels, such as AMH, E2, LH and FSH. If everything is good at this stage, we move on to another examination which include hormones’ levels (prolactin, TSH, progesterone) TORCH infections, PAP smears, genetic tests (karyotype, cystic fibrosis), HBV, HCV, antibodies to HIV and T. Pallidum, total blood count, etc. In addition, the potential donor is examined by psychotherapist and General Practitioner to make sure she is in the perfect health state, both physically and psychologically.
First of all, there will be a need to synchronize patient’s and egg donor’s menstrual cycles. This procedure is done in order to simultaneously start the treatment.
After that, both egg donor and patient are going through stimulation. The egg donor injects hormones to stimulate the growth of follicles for approximately 12 days. At the same time, patient takes medications to prepare the uterine lining for embryo transfer.
At the day of egg retrieval, your partner needs to provide his semen sample for the further fertilization in a laboratory. There is a possibility for the male patient to come in advance, provide his sample so we can freeze it and thaw at the appropriate time.
Then, donor’s eggs are fertilized by the semen sample in a laboratory by using ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) and PICSI (Physiological Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) techniques. In 17 hours we can check how many eggs have been fertilized and in 3-5 days’ embryologists estimate the quality of obtained embryos and decide on the number of embryos to transfer. The surplus embryos will be cryopreserved for the further use in case of both successful or unsuccessful cycle.
In fourteen days the pregnancy test is done to confirm pregnancy.
